It's a premium item, so you get extra words for your money

Our local HMV has the vinyl edition for £39.99, which is a hefty reduction from £84.99, but no 3CD version, unfortunately.

Aye, I have DYWM Baby listed on the back of the box.

Danny - a couple of people I know said the deluxe CD version wasn't on display in the HMVs they went into, but they asked for it and they had some in the stockroom! Might be worth phoning them :)

Thanks A LOT for the info Tracy =D Both the deluxe and vinyl editions are now available to buy online (currently out of stock) at that price. That works out at €48 which is less than half the price at Tower records in Dublin! Just ordered the vinyl set.

Thanks for the advice, I was considering doing this when I noticed that the CD/DVD version is back in stock on the HMV website.

Given the furore over the price, it was inevitable it would get reduced eventually, wasn't it. Would have been even sooner if all those mugs hadn't paid 80 quid for it ;)

I shall rip it to MP3 and listen to it in my local Indian restaurant while my girlfriend and I enjoy a slap-up meal with the 40 quid I saved

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed Empire State Human (live on mainstream 1979) missing from the DVD...or is it just my copy :)

It's a known error on all copies, check page 13 of the thread.

80 quid a pop doesn't cover the cost of a proofreader, unfortunately :)

It would have been proof read, unfortunately they weren't that familiar with the Human League's back catalogue or else rather tired!

its going to cost $70 for a 12x12 book, with slipcase, standard stock paper.
square 7x7 is $40 and 8x10 and 10x8 are both $50

i will reformat some of the pages, make the text darker and easier to read, and fix
some images to make them properly joined,

some of the scans are blurry and low resolution, and if i can find higher resolution scans
i can use those instead.

due to a sale from the book making company, i was able to get the 12x12 inch hardcover book for the $50 price of
the smaller ones.

it should be here in a week or two. will post some pictures of it once it's arrived.
