Pretty amazing ...

Postby r3d3 » Sun Dec 11, 2016 10:46 pm

Anybody into synths should check out this guys YouTube channel.
He's recreated all tracks from Dare with just a Roland jp-08. If youre into synths you'll probably know the jp08 is Roland's recreation of the Jupiter 8 ... part of their boutique range. If not, no matter ... still check out the channel I can guarantee you won't fail to be impressed. Also on the channel you'll find his recreations of depeche modes speak and spell and yazoo's upstairs at Eric's

That's top stuff, thanks for sharing :)

Actually, this is pretty amazing, just listening to his version of Love Action and it's stuff like this - a new twist on great tracks - that I love. Thanks so much for posting this.

thanks for posting this.

they are all excellent versions and match the originals quite closely.

dont you want me is a little bit longer though.

i am using them to make new 2016 remixes of songs... and will post some of them eventually.

the other tracks are pretty good too.

Here's a cool deconstruction of 'don't you want me':

i've ordered the multitrack wav files for the 'dare' album from the youtube owner of the person
that recreated all the sounds.

should be a lot of fun to play with.

will report back, and post some mixes once i have a chance to do that.

just got the dvd with the multitracks for dare on it.

they are very authentic,

each track (except for get carter, which is very simple), has at least 8-12 tracks per song.

so you can deconstruct each song down to individual elements, and drum tracks are included also.

for example for 'things that dreams are made of' you have:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
bass
claps
dist melody
high melody
kick
melody
octave synth
snare
toms
verse strings

if you had the acapella versions of the vocals, you could probably reconstruct the original tracks.

will be a lot of fun playing around these during the holidays..

will post some samples at some point.

well worth the money if you're a fan of dare, and want to play around with the tracks.

i did not get the midi or patches version, because i don't have a keyboard, and wouldn't be
able to use those as well, as these.
