By the way, there is an easy solution to the apparent problem of the best seats being bought en masse by profiteers that doesn't involve taxing the punter.

You just make those rows available to people who turn up to buy from the venue. Hey presto, the issue disappears. Resellers might go to the trouble of setting up 40 bot accounts to snare the best seats online, but no way are they hiring 40 people to queue up in all weathers on the day of release.

Well I won't be dancing I now have an over-pronating right ankle and just standing or walking is painful, as my gran said "old age doesn't come alone". :/

Can't complain about £86 for two in the 5th row back @ Glasgow.

I once spent a very uncomfortable night in Antwerp Station's waiting room in late 1986 while waiting for the first train of the day to take us to Antwerp airport, for the flight back to London to go straight to work. I'd gone to see Erasure in La Louviere - I went with fellow "Stomp Crew" member James Diplock (he would go on to have a bit of chart success with his band Hyper Go-Go). 'Sometimes' had just gone into the top 40.
Well who's that shouting? John, ex-Moderator - all he ever gives us is pain!

I've set a price alert on Kayak so if airline tickets get cheap enough, I would like to come over for this show.
