Just too many of these now. Retro this and that.

There's one of these on near Dublin at the end of the month with Culture Club, ABC, Boney M, Tom Jones & Village People.
Can't be arsed to go and by the sounds of it a lot of other people can't either coz they are desperately playing the ads for it on TV, radio & newspapers.

My only chance to see CC this year but couldn't bring myself to go to one of these 'retro' gigs. Awful.

Just seems strange having a multi-day festival for retro acts. Aiming at a younger generation like Glastonbury makes perfect sense, but I can't imagine folk in their 50s and 60s having quite the same appetite for sleeping in a leaky tent and standing up to their ankles in shit for two days.

Your loss! Your only chance to see one of your fave bands? It's a no-brainier. Stop worrying about the "crowds", and go enjoy your bands!

Can't stand festival gigs anyway but the thoughts of people dressing up in stupid 80s outfits and taking the piss just ain't my thing. I wouldn't go see The League at one of these gigs so certainly no chance of me going for CC.

I didn't click on the link, noticed that the ticket sellers listed it as cancelled. There are some more gigs listed though, race courses etc.
