According to facebook/twitter the band didn't perform tonight. Midge Ure did an extended set and then the promoter announced the league were not coming on. The event Facebook page states
'Thank you for coming & have a safe journey home.

We're sorry that The Human League did not perform this evening, our thoughts are with the band member that has been taken seriously ill & we hope they make a speedy recovery.'

Wishing whoever is unwell a speedy recovery.

Just posted on FB by thl
"Just a very brief note to say we are extremely sorry that we were unable to perform for you all at the Lytham Festival tonight, it really was unavoidable we're afraid. We wil post a more fullsome explanation tomorrow but in the meantime woud just like to thank you all for your understanding and the promoters Cuffe and Taylor for their kind assistance and professionalism. Again our sincere apologues, we will make it up to you we promise."

They're meant to be playing Scarborough tonight, so I guess we'll know how serious it is later.

Apparently it's the first gig they've ever cancelled:-o

There doesn't seem to be any more news about this, is that good or bad?

Didn't they play a gig last night? Don't think it's anything too serious. Someone (Phil?) wasn't well but was ok by the following day. It happens.

Why would they need to post on Facebook that nobody is ill? It was a short illness, everyone is ok so why linger on it??

Seen a tweet containing the following: "The human League were amazing #80sv90s Scarborough" Looks like normal service has been resumed!
