A good information find, a lot of dates, a good spread of venues and surprised to see Southampton in there. They are not really much of a favourite of mine but I'm sure there will be good attendance numbers during this tour.

Apparently this is part of a world tour kicking off in the states in support of a new album Violet Flame out in September. There are also a couple of one off festival gigs in the UK in August.

Haven't found any samples of the new music yet.

Let us know when you find something, have never seen them live, but curious about this album, so might get a ticket!

Just watched some of that Yahoo webcast thing of the recent Boston gig on youtube. Wow! Vince doesn't do much on stage, but holy shit he's beefed up the music. Almost clublike now. Getting excited about seeing them in December :)

Went to their gig in Arhus last night and really enjoyed it. No stagedesign or anything and Bell was a little subdued (his gold hot pants wasn't!) . But the music was ace. Love the way Vince has remixed all the tracks to add some much needed oomph! And he played enough on his keyboard to keep me satisfied with the performance part of the gig. A sold out crowd was well up for it, so all in all a great night.

Yes, gutted I missed this tour, by the time I'd gotten around to looking for tickets they were all gone, apart from ticket tout rip off websites at absolutely over the top prices. Still I'm getting the album as a Christmas present from Sandra.

Shame you missed it. The tickets sold out for the 2 Dublin gigs in a few hours. Great that they are still such a vital live band.

I missed it too! By the time I got over the fact that I'd need to pay an arena price at a venue that usually costs £20 a ticket, the standing ones were sold out. No way was I sitting upstairs during an Erasure gig!!

Wow, what a gig. "Only" a PA but on for about 80 minutes. Started with Hideaway and also did Dead Of Night, my favourite off Violet Flame. More tomorrow when it isn't stupid o'clock.
