Another 80's revival thingy going on in Cork in December featuring Howard Jones, ABC, Bad Manners, Aslan & Midge Ure - not all playing on the same night though. Joe tipped me off about this one.

There's a Prom Night Valentine special on Saturday if anyone fancies some shameless 80s fun in London...

I've not seen him before, so really looking forward to it. Do you think I should go see Ladytron with the Faint next month?

He was excellent! Notwithstanding the fact he could dress better than he does.

I thought it was The Blitz as in New Romantics. I was wondering why a New Romantic night would be taking place in an air raid shelter.

I had to look at it twice, too. But I'd be thrilled with either scenario!

Saw Little Boots last night at Heaven and special guest appearence buy none other than Phil Oakey singing Symmetry a duet with Victoria what an unexpected bonus that was!! Quite funny as after she said how can top that now and somebody quick as a flash shouts out "Goodnight" how right was he? But she went on to finish off with Stuck on Repeat she was much better than the last time I saw her and seems to be gaining confidence on stage. I know that there are many readers on this forum that don't like her style but IMO her songs are classically Electropop which she carries off very well and to have Mr Oakeys backing can only be a bonus for her.
She will be signing her new album and performing at HMV Oxford St at 6pm on 8th June if your interested.
As always Photos available directly from me r.price@imperial.ac.uk anytime.
Cheers Richard

Steve Strange is apparently playing London (Heartbreak @ Ms Rosalita's) tonight under his new name, Cesar Strange.

The blurb I keep receiving on Facebook goes something like this (they keep changing it, but the writing never gets any better):

"a space vessel has just landed on hoxton square...
and a character who has been living on another planet has reinvented himself as Cesar Strange has arrived.
The alien formerly known as Visage will be released from the time capsule at 9.45 prompt as a vision of extraordinaire and delight."

Errr... right.

*Patrick Wolf * has announced very special guests *Marc Almond* and *Alec Empire* will join him on stage at London Palladium on November 15th. He will be performing songs from his latest album, /The Bachelor/, his most extravagant and captivating record yet. As well as songs from his catalogue, all as they were originally intended to be heard with a live string section, and gospel choir. In what is sure to be an exceptional evening.
