X-Offender by Blondie, "I had to ask, you just had to laugh", I guess we've all been there.

Free Me by Cast. Pickup on Cast in the mid to late 1990s when we still listened to Radio 1. This was around about the time that Monaco had their first album out.

VKTRS is Vince Clarke's favourite song. Wasn't it Trevor Horn?

I don't listen to Britney Spears except here with Will I. Am in "Scream and Shout"

What hooked me on this song was a girlfriend posting a vid of two young boys she babysits. The six year old was dancing like a pro to the dance-scene sections, while his three year old brother was in the back room and you could see his little head bopping up and down to it!

The Essential Will Young. Often dismissed as just another TV puppet singer but this album shows some real creativity and has some great catchy tunes. His last album (the Richard X produced 'Echoes') was ace too.

Nah, I ADORE that song! Could listen to it on loop all day. My gratitude to Daft Punk.

Now here's one I can only listen to once in a blue moon--but it's funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMwhl4IrPNc

Robert Palmer has done so much great stuff over his career (Johnny & Mary, Addicted to Love), I very much the musical genius of this guy, sad to think he's no longer around but he has left us with marvellous music

Music from the Seventies: That's The Way I Like It by KC and the Sunshine Band, Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton, 2-4-6-8 Motorway by Tom Robinson Band and Cars by Gary Numan. Sandra has a Seventies compilation album. It wasn't all prog rock in the seventies.

Yeah for quite a while I was anti 70s but seeing BBC series 'Life On Mars' rather changed my opinion. Via Oxfam bookshop I was tempted to check out this box set http://www.amazon.co.uk/70s-Box-Set-Various-Artists/dp/B00006J3LR/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1397207927&sr=1-1&keywords=seventies+box+set and have grown to love it, particularly first disc with David Bowie, Adam & The Ants and Squeeze.

Yes, had to revist Eric Burden and the Animal, "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood." Loved his voice, too.

My Perfect Cousin by the Undertones. Another punk rock band that melted away with the New Romantic onslaught in the eighties.
