yeah, it's really bad, but there is a very comforting 80's atmosphere to the song - hint of Talk Talk and Simple Minds, that I simply can't shake - love it more and more - you can always listen to it from here (no video):

Nina is getting a good bit of recognition at the moment I think it's well deserved. I'm hoping to see her live in Dublin next week too. Do yourselves a favour and check out her Soundcloud page:

I recently listened to Avec Sans after seeing them name around for a while. Really enjoying this song - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXVLMtXDNNw

I'm seeing them on Thursday as they're playing my Empathy Test (my favourite band to stalk at the moment) ;) and I'm looking forward to checking them out live :)

Oooh good find ED. Have booked to see them in Edinburgh on the 18th, was hooked from the opening of the track you posted the link, takes a lot to get my attention, but this lot did. Hope you will enjoy them live too.

Thanks not sure when the album is released but downloads of all the tracks are available on ITunes now apparently. If I was braver I'd go to see them at Start The Bus Bristol, support band is Alphabet. Tickets are free from Dice FM, it's £2-00 at the door if you don't have a ticket. However as the venue only has room for 300 it might be full. It's really a bar and grill place.

Anyone heard the 'Stranger Things' soundtrack? Totally electronic/synthy.

This is the type of thing I'd imagine that Oakey/Beevers & Sutton could be doing in the studio in Sheffield.

I am totally in love with this - smooth electronic pop music - people really should check out the artist (Roosevelt):

Yep. Like that. Good voice. Find a lot of new electronic music have dodgy vocalists.

Client Liaison

O.M.G!!!

I was just checking out Client on itunes to see if there was anything from the archives (I know there isn't, but just check from time to time) and I came across an Aussie band called Client Liaison. How the bloody hell haven't I heard of them?! Some really great modern synth pop songs, although I suppose they might be considered more dance than pop with some of their tracks which are like a modernised funky sound.

I ended up downloading both their EPs and the album Diplomatic Immunity. I went onto Amazon to see how much the CD would cost and saw an advert for concert tickets. Got one just in time - fewer than 1% of tickets left.

Check out the tracks Feed The Rhythm here and Wild Life here (just forward it to a minute in to get rid of the daft bit at the start). I'm loving these!!

I may have been a bit gung ho there... I'm enjoying it, but not as much as when I first heard it. Now regretting buying the concert ticket a bit. :(
