Avengers is on tonight, love that show, Emma Peel mmmmmmmmmmmmm :P

Was watching the Crystal Maze Earlier, Ric was at his camp/madcap best, used to love that show when I was a kid.
One of my friends mothers banned him from watching it tho, she thought old Ric was some kinda ''weird homo'' and she didnt want her son being influenced, oh well, they were American I spose lol

I'm looking forward to the new talent show on tomorrow (Saturday) night. Kinda like X Factor, but with all types of acts. I like Simon Cowell who is on the panel, Ant & Dec are hosting, and to me it looks like a good old Saturday night cheesy entertainment type show. Could be a laugh !

totally agree with you! I'm also a big Avengers, and for that matter also New Avengers fan.

Personally I prefer to tape a couple of episodes from their Friday night rerun slot and watch them on a Wednesday evening 'back-to-back'

...and yeah, I'm brave enough to say (am I truely alone in this???) that I rather like the 1998 movie that stared (Sir) Sean Connery as Sir August DeWinter

Regarding 'Crystal Maze', yep Richard O'Brien is great but I much rather prefer a bit of 'tally ho' and 'keep on rockin' with Ed TudorPole, totally manic and just right as subsequent host, shame they don't rerun his editions.

Well i watched it (Britains Got Talent) and I DID enjoy it, but it's not a new Saturday night series :/ Shame, coz i like my cheesy TV when i'm not out at the weekend. It's on every night this week at 9:30 ITV !

It was rather amusing and i'm baffled at some peoples talents, but i also got a bit choked up at a couple too *blush*. Oh dear - am i getting old ??

:P

Do you use the same stuff as Jane Fonda, cos she's 68, and her skin not only feels toned, but more resilient...;)

Currently watching 'The Prisoner' double episodes on Thursday evenings, great 40th anniversary stuff on DVD, 'be seeing you!'

The Avengers is very cool indeed, love watching them. Was out clubbing once and in the middle of a breakbeat set, the DJ dropped in the 'New Avengers' theme (full length version), and it really worked well.

...I see there is a chance for us (those of us who were there) to relive our childhoods this Saturday evening with 'Tiswas Reunited' http://www.radiotimes.com/ListingsServlet?event=10&channelId=26&programmeId=61797239&jspLocation=/jsp/prog_details_fullpage.jsp

however if you don't fancy that then there's seemingly top notch drama over on BBC1 with the first of a six part 'Jekyll' (http://www.radiotimes.com/ListingsServlet?event=10&channelId=92&programmeId=61797074&jspLocation=/jsp/prog_details_fullpage.jsp) series...

Looks good whichever you choose!

Yep I'll be choosing Tiswas however after the previous nostaglia features on "Swap Shop" and "The Goodies" I guess I'll probably feel a bit embarrassed to admit that I actually watched this when I was a child.

Jekyll looks good but afterall it is a six parter so I can always catch up over the next five weeks...
