James May getting it wrong yet again with the Aston Martin racing car when the team set out to find the best road in the world, great hours worth of Top Gear entertainment on Sunday!

Laughed my ass off at that, a very welcome return to TV.

I've been lucky enough to travel up the Stelvio Pass in Italy, and the road and the views are breathtaking beyond belief...though I was in a minibus driven by an Italian who was trying to overtake on the bends. In the rain. !!!!!!

By the time we got to the top, I had to peel my fingernails out of the door handles where I was holding on for dear life!

Loved the 'crossing the channel' challenge, barking mad or what but how were the guys allowed to smoke pipes on TV... I thought that was against the rules!

The bit where they were smoking pipes was one of the funniest things I've seen this year, especially when Jeremy put the pipe the wrong way round into his mouth... :)

Supernatural series 3 - has many of the creative people working on it who did the best X-Files eppys and about the only thing I bother to watch these days.

Better than Heroes - trust me.

As much as I like Supernatural , I find that it was essentially the strungout storyline arc or the kill a boogeyman storyline apart from the quite excellent last two eppys of series 3 , Heroes kicks its ass and paints on it "OWNED" (sorry been playing to much Quake Wars lately ;) ) . Not to say its bad , just that Heroes seems to have an arc within arcs and still give up secrets to build on , rather than SuperN`s waiting for the event to happen - different types of storytelling but I do enjoy both .

Just some info I'd like to mention that might be worth video/DVD taping...

I've enthused about it greatly in a previous post but now UK terrestrial channel FIVE will be showing "Still Crazy Like A Fox", tomorrow 31/10/2007 1.40pm - 3.40pm

For those of you with access to UK satellite channel More4 they will feature, as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations the showing of the first ever episode of "Treasure Hunt" tonight (30/10/2007) 11.05pm - 12.10am.

where's that wide-eyed annorak icon when I need it?!

Oh go on then who remembers this shortlived US series http://www.dvddonkey.com/movies/action/Fantastic_Journey.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fantastic_Journey

Very interesting site, worth having a good stroll around if you've got some time, which offers some interesting pointers to potential future UK DVD releases. I particularly like hearing that "Crossing Jordan" is up there although I personally would prefer to get it one season at a time. Fingers crossed that this will start happening in 2008!

I've never heard of that series, but it looks really interesting and familiar - I remember a series called Otherworld that was in the 80's - a family who were on holiday in Egypt gets mysteriously transported to a parallel universe Earth where nothing is as it seems...only had a short run though:

I loved that race, especially when James May asked the police officer who had pulled him over to check out their filming permit if they could 'switch on the blues and twos' (ie. stick the sirens and flashing lights on) so that he could catch up on the time he had lost... :)

You think this will be worth watching?...not that I will be able to, before it's out on DVD - the pictures looks promising, if not anything.

some 'kick ass' sci fi to start the new year! Great stuff, lets just hope that it lives up to the hype and effectively echoes the movies, particularly T2!

it's suppose to follow that route, and not the "Rise of..." crap.

Lewis Hamilton driving a 'reasonably priced car' and Richard Hammond in an F1 car. Yep, sounds like another quality entertainment 'Top Gear' show tomorrow evening! :)

Yes, (apart from the one about the Irish-ex-terrorist-with-a-vendetta) this series has been the best for years.
