'luckygary' RIP

Postby Stig Olsen » Mon Feb 14, 2011 11:21 pm

It has come to our attention that Gary Treacy - known here as both luckygary and luckygazza has passed away 12th of december 2010. From what I could gather, the family believes it was a heart attack.

I am both sad and shocked about this. I didn't knew Gary at all, but I did knew him from various both funny and heated debates on here...and sometimes also through PM. He was a dedicated fan with opinions. As he was born in 1965 - this is too fuckin' early!

The info reached Pauline first, and we both were uncertain about posting this, but out of respect for both him and those here who knew him, I decided to pass on the info.

RIP Gary

Sad news :( And yet another example of *Life's too short*. I never met Gary, and yeah had a few disagreements on here wi him, but he also made me chuckle, and was definitely passionate about the band !!

I'll bet he's up there now, having already heard CREDO, and sticking his 2 fingers up at us as we speak ;)

RIP GARY x

That's terrible, and thoughts go out to his family and friends. I never met him either, but certainly no doubt that he loved THL. RIP Gary.
Well who's that shouting? John, ex-Moderator - all he ever gives us is pain!

I'm really sad to hear that. I've met very few people on here but people's personalities and passions come through in all the posts. I hope you took away as much as you put into the forum Gary.

In my little head I've always felt that everything and everyone connected with this band will live on forever. In a way I guess they will in the music.

How sad :( And way too early! Don't think I ever met Gary in person at a gig, but seemed like a decent chap judging from his posts. RIP.
