bootlegs
Hello there, im new to posting, but have been viewing for a while. i have a friend that is mad on the human league, and i gather bits of info ect from this site, and others for him. point is that over the years i have managed to get a couple of bootlegs for him that i am happy to share, thing is i dont know how, or where to upload files to, if someone can tell me how to do this i will.

Hey, you can create zip folders of the files you wish to upload, and upload these folders onto megaupload (as long as the filder is less than 500MB, you could always split the concert into two zipped folders if necessary)

To create a zip folder you need to select all the songs you wish to add, right click, and choose send to - zip folder. If you are using a mac you need to hold ctrl, click the selected files, and choose archive of, creating a compressed archive folder. You will get fewer .flac files than .mp3 files in a compressed folder, so you may need to upload the LA conert in more parts

It will take quite a while to upload as it is such a large file. It also takes a while to download - 1.5 hours for me (damn me and my cheap internet, lol)!
I won't be able to download till this evening but shall let you know! You could always split the concert into 2 folders instead of one. They might be easier to upload / download that way?

Wow PDC, a very impressive list, I have put xx next to the ones that I have, not nearly as many as you though.
I also have 12/11/80 Doncaster and 13/1/87 Hammersmith(could be 12/1/87 though)
the other items I have managed to get fror my mate are a dvd off a camcorder, from a show at ascot racecourse, cant remember the date, but its quite recent, and a few tv show clips including, top of the pops 81, swapshop and an interview with B.A.Robinson.
If someone tells me how to put them up I will gladly do so.
also if you wouldnt mind sharing some of your impressive collection PDC I would be grateful

Hmm... I have no idea. Hard to determine these things when it comes to bootlegs. Perhaps there is another version with extra songs? I know mine was sourced from the original vinyl boot, but I can't verify that it contained the full show.

Because I don't know most of the new people on this board from Adam.
In the past people have shared stuff, only to see them end up on Ebay, where those without scruples make a profit. Sharing goes on between the people who actually meet up, who know they can trust each other to not rip the band off.
I videoed the free Newark, Kings Lynn and Falkirk gigs. The only person to get a copy, and the master tape in one instance, was db.

Same happened to me, I haven't got round to it yet, but I'll have to find some software to unpack it. Usually you can just google the file extension and you'll eventually find the right prog.

Try WinRAR, it handles most compression algorithms, it unpacked it for me.
Was a bit weird to hear the Tiffany's gig as i was there, blind drunk and also got backstage to embarrass myself when meeting the band......... strange getting a red face nearly 30 years later

I agree PDC, who can you trust nowadays?
Ebays sucks because you can have my money just like Crash ;-)
Unfortunately you'll have to be carefull to whom you share your
League collection. So it's better to meet a Massive in person before
another League gig.
Those were the times but these are the days !!

Hi, I'm new and would like to know if there is a fan-made DVD of their early TV appearances etc. and if there's a chance to share it - despite the fact that I'm a Newbie...
Oh, if you have footage on VHS and need some assistance in getting it on DVD in excellent quality, I could help with that and also with professional video editing and filtering...
