A family affair, methinks : Mia's second and Daniel's first THL gigs.
Well who's that shouting? John, ex-Moderator - all he ever gives us is pain!

Now this is the one that has SERIOUSLY pissed me off. I'm on it straight away, as Linford Christie used to say I was out of the blocks on the B of the BANG, and because I needed 4 tickets was more difficult. I turned down a seat in the front row, and forced further and further back with wanker messages like "Oh, it looks like someone has already beaten you to those seats. Please try again." Ended up in row P. Fucking hell.

You should have taken the single front row and got everyone else further back tickets ;) :P

Yeah, that would have gone down well. Hey, during breaks in songs I could have turned round and glibly waved to them.

Funny thing is, ED, I did have that conversation with Lou (i.e. told her I passed up a front row seat) - this is how it went:

I said: "I passed up a front row seat so we could all sit together!"
What Lou said: "Oh, you should have taken the front row."
What Lou thought: "Good job you did, otherwise your life wouldn't be worth living."

:/

I like being near the back, it avoids all those prats who stand up, dance and sing along, blocking my view as I sit down...Oh Sorry.

Are you sure you're not confusing a gig with going to the cinema?

Not a problem you have down at the Mortuary (aka Colston Hall), eh?

Fun watching my kids dancing and clapping along to Funky Town by Pseudo Echo :) (Daniel's first ever gig. He is BESIDE HIMSELF at seeing THL!)

OMG - Sydney is the worst crowd EVER. Nearly everyone still sitting down halfway through and we've already had Seconds, Mirror Man and SOTC. Security telling people to sit down. :(

Just like being in Bristol! :/

Ok it got better. At Love Action I just said 'f*ck this I'm standing.' So I did, then some people started moving down the front, so I took Daniel down to nearly in front of the stage. He loved it! He (and Mia, wearing Susan's cat's ears) loved it even more when Simon took us back to say hello. Photos to come. :)

They are THE NICEST PEOPLE EVER!!
