Erasure 2018 Tour

Postby SubHuman » Wed Jan 24, 2018 12:45 pm

Seems this is imminent, starting on the 29th, lots of UK dates followed by Europe. I suppose most of the tickets have gone by now =( ? Why didn't we know about this I would have liked to have gone to one of the gigs.

I'd guess the major reason is because this is a Human League forum rather than an Erasure one?

It's Erasure though, so I'd be surprised if it's sold out.

I've known about it for ages as has anyone else on the mailing list. Pretty sure all the UK and Europe dates are sold out according to the weekly newsletter. They've just announced the US dates.

They are playing 3 Dublin dates, all of which are sold out. I’m off to see them next Monday.

I'll have to get more organised, might be difficult for me though. :/

As you can see, I didn't check to see if they were playing poxy little venues, which they are.

Tonight’s Erasure gig and the first gig of their world tour was cancelled due to Andy being ill.

It's a pity that they had to postpone all 3 Dublin shows at such short notice. Andy and Vince love Dublin so I'm sure they'll make it extra special for the re-scheduled shows. For those of you who are interested there is an interview with Vince in the current issue of Computer Music magazine, focusing on his current set-up for their live shows.
