Thanks for the link but it’s awful.

Sounds like a demo but he’s certainly no vocalist. I couldn’t listen any further than the first 2 minutes. Terrible.

Well the music was okay, but he's no singer. You would have to ask why?

Ian has a new album available via Pledge Music, including an album launch event with a Q&A session.

I always find it interesting to see what ex League people are up to.

I really wanted this to be good. Unfortunately it’s just really bad. Maybe, if he got a guest vocalist it would be better. He can’t sing.

Sorry Ian. :/

It's odd how former key members of the Human League never seems to come up with anything interesting electronic music on their own (apart from Martyn Ware off course!). I agree this isn't really up to much, but also the stuff from people like Jo Callis (even if that doesn't surprise as he was a rocker before joing THL). Russell Dennett plays in some boring rock band that hits the pub circuit and Jim Russell plays drums in strictly non electronic bands.

Sorry Ian but I would have to agree it is pretty awful. Rather an audio musical mess... might be better when this demo is fully finished... :p

I don’t think this is the demo. I think it’s the finished track. Shocking, I know.

I think it's a nice representation of what Ian Burden wants to share with the world. Is it a grammy winning song? No. Is it a top ten contender in todays market? No. Is he the best singer in the world? No. Have I heard worst? Yes. It has a decent melody that might could benefit from a stronger producer. I would like to hear what else he has to offer from his new album. I'm not expecting Philip's voice cause he's not Philip. I would always be curious of whomever was with the League what would they create apart from the group. I guess I'm open minded like that.

This could also be applied to the league now, Credo seems so long ago. =(

Since Ian, Jo, Adrian and ‘the others’ left the group The League have released some cracking music with Secrets being a music high point (for me). Not one of the former members (from Dare era to now) has released anything of note. It’s a shame. I’d love to see ex members release some decent music.

Best of luck to Ian but I won’t be buying it.

I’d still like to know if Nic & Neil are still involved in music. I’d love to see both of them release something good.

I guess if you can play a musical instrument you're always involved in music somehow even if you only play for your own pleasure.

It's mostly the chords from the Lebanon with less of a melody. He sings like he talks. The song's alright but its produced and mixed quite poorly. Poorly enough that you can't really hear how it''s supposed to sound.
